Yellowstone Quake's Trent Carter had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing three assists in his team's 6-2 win over Gillette Wild.

Carter got on the board by slotting home a power play goal 13:07 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Yellowstone Quake. Yellowstone Quake had gained a power play chance when Darren Banks was whistled for interference. Orri Haman picked up the assist. Carter dished an assist on Sam Basich's goal that made the score 4-2 Yellowstone Quake at 17:16 into the second period. He then added assists on Josh Neumann's goal at 8:36 into the third and on Tanner Fricke's goal at 18:10 into the third.

After the loss made the series score 2-0 in the best of five series, Gillette Wild faces elimination next time out.

Yellowstone Quake kept Gillette Wild's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nick Vittori made 48 saves on 54 shots.

Yellowstone Quake also got points from Basich, who also racked up one goal and two assists. George Splichal also scored for Yellowstone Quake. Other players who recorded assists for Yellowstone Quake were Bryan Standly, who had two and Anthony Leong and Jimmy Tich, who each chipped in one.

Gillette Wild's offense rang up 31 shots on Yellowstone Quake's net.

Gillette Wild was led by Tyler Johnson, who finished with one goal and one assist. Johnson scored 1:44 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Brandon Wilbert provided the assist. Gillette Wild also got a goal from Trent Dillinger as well. More assists for Gillette Wild came via Boris Knyazev, who had one.

Jared Schletty rejected 29 shots on goal for Yellowstone Quake. Yellowstone Quake totaled 31 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. Gillette Wild totaled 45 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play. For Gillette Wild, Matt Rose was ejected from the game.
