Hermantown downs Marshall School Duluth, 3-0

Bo Gronseth registered two points to lead the Hermantown Hawks to a 3-0 victory over the Marshall School Duluth Hilltoppers.

 

The Hawks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Hermantown forced Marshall School Duluth goalie Caden Flaherty to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Hermantown also got points from Chris Benson, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Travis Koepke, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Hermantown were Jake Zeleznikar and Neal Pionk, who each chipped in one.

The Hilltoppers were led by Jordon Fralich, who took four shots.

Adam Smith recorded 17 saves for the Hawks. Hermantown incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Marshall School Duluth's Flaherty stopped 33 shots out of the 36 that he faced. The Hilltoppers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
