The Duluth East Greyhounds and the Moorhead Spuds played 60 tight minutes of hockey, but in the end it was Duluth East that came away with a 1-0 victory.

Duluth East was led by Jack Kolar, who registered one goal. Kolar scored 1:13 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Duluth East. Beaulieu picked up the assist.
