New Hampshire holds on for 3-1 win against South Shore

The South Shore Kings tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the New Hampshire Jr Monarchs would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-1.
New Hampshire took a 3-0 lead during the third period, only to have South Shore storm back on a Owen Campbell goal 19:31 into the third period to pull to two goals down.
The win gave the Jr Monarchs a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.
Shane Tracy had a great game for New Hampshire, netting two goals.
The Jr Monarchs forced the Kings goalie Kory LeBlanc to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. New Hampshire was effective with a man advantage, and put in two goals while on the power play.
In addition, South Shore received assists from Dylan_P Burns, who had one.
Cole Burack recorded 25 saves for the Jr Monarchs. New Hampshire incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. South Shore's LeBlanc stopped 34 shots out of the 37 that he faced. The Kings incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
