Suffolk and Junior Bruins could not settle their match and fought to a 2-2 tie. The Juniors' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Junior Bruins power plays. Junior Bruins was unable to stop Suffolk from sending pucks towards the net, and the Juniors eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Suffolk was helped by Jason Reiter, who finished with one goal. Reiter scored 2:38 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Nicholas Mangone provided the assist. Suffolk also got a goal from Matthew Gault as well. In addition, Suffolk received assists from Joseph Duszak, who had one. Junior Bruins' offense rang up 76 shots on the Juniors' net. Junior Bruins did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Junior Bruins was helped by Kyle Carlson, who tallied one goal. Carlson scored 8:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Junior Bruins. Robert Houghton picked up the assist. Cam Cottam also scored for Junior Bruins. More assists for Junior Bruins came via Zachary Byczko, who had one. Daniel Potter rejected 74 shots on goal for Suffolk. The Juniors incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Sam Dargene recorded 30 saves for Junior Bruins.
