Jenna Sosnoski stood on her head and made 30 saves to lead CAMBRIDGE to a 2-1 victory over BLUEWATER. The win by CAMBRIDGE clinched the best of five series at 3-2. CAMBRIDGE was paced by Brooklyn Irwin, who racked up one goal. Irwin scored 10:25 into the third period to make the score 2-1 CAMBRIDGE. Marcie Landman provided the assist. BLUEWATER put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow CAMBRIDGE to score on any of its seven power plays. BLUEWATER's offense rang up 31 shots on CAMBRIDGE's net. BLUEWATER was led by Jessica Wakefield, who scored the team's only goal. Wakefield scored 11:32 into the second period to make the score 1-0 BLUEWATER. Lauren Lefler picked up the assist. CAMBRIDGE incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. BLUEWATER's Brooke Gibson stopped 17 shots out of the 19 that she faced. BLUEWATER totaled 29 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play. For BLUEWATER, Brooke Hartwick was ejected from the game.
