Jeremy Currie made 34 saves to complete the shutout and led the Grimsby Peach Kings to a 3-0 win against the Glanbrook Rangers.

After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Glanbrook faces elimination next time out.

Grimsby was led by Mathew Paonessa, who grabbed one goal. Paonessa scored on the power play 3:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Grimsby. The Peach Kings earned a power play opportunity when Jay Creen was put in the box for hooking. Colin Isnor picked up the assist.

Grimsby excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Peach Kings' offense rang up 33 shots on the Rangers' net.

Stuart Isnor also scored for Grimsby. In addition, Grimsby received assists from Anthony Pullia, who had one.

Glanbrook's offense rang up 34 shots on Grimsby's net.

The Peach Kings incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Matt Sagrott rejected 30 shots on goal for the Rangers. Glanbrook incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
