London downs St. Thomas in overtime, 6-5 (OT)

The London Nationals' Noah Schwartz scored 3:03 into overtime to beat the St. Thomas Stars, 6-5 (OT).

After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, St. Thomas faces elimination next time out.

London came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Nationals fell behind 5-3 after a short handed goal by the Stars' Reid Oliver at 6:02 in the third period. London knotted things up at 5-5 on a goal by Aaron Dartch at 19:13 in the third period.

Schwartz was all over the ice for the Nationals, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win.

London kept St. Thomas' goalie busy throughout the game, and Devin Golets made 33 saves on 39 shots.

London additionally got points from Dartch, who also tallied one goal and two assists. London also got a goal from Blake Thomas as well. More assists for London came via Sean Consitt, who had three and Shawn Crowley, Matt Fuller, and Robert MacFarlane, who contributed one a piece.

St. Thomas also got points from Colin Mooney, who also registered one goal and two assists. Scott Mitchell also scored for St. Thomas. In addition, St. Thomas received assists from Kevin Zacharuk, who had four and Ryan Hamelin and Matt Tsioros, who each chipped in one.

Taylor Edwards recorded 21 saves for the Nationals. London incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Stars incurred 34 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Team's Mitchell and Chris Maton were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
