Chatham falls to Lambton Shores in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Kyle Brothers gave the Lambton Shores Predators a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Chatham Maroons when he scored 6:01 into the extra period.

With the win, Lambton Shores evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown.

Brothers was all over the ice for the Predators, as he finished with two goals in the win.

Chatham was unable to stop Lambton Shores from sending pucks towards the net, and the Predators eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Lambton Shores also got a goal from Ryan Rontondi as well. Other players who recorded assists for Lambton Shores were Brett Thompson, Kyler Keating, Tanner Ferguson, Connor Annett, Cale Duberry, and Adam Arseneault, who each chipped in one.

The Maroons' offense rang up 37 shots on Lambton Shores' net.

Chatham was led by Brennan Feasey, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Feasey scored on the power play 10:52 into the third period to make the score 2-2. The Maroons had gotten the advantage when the Predators' Sam Jasmin was sent off for slashing. Jake Flegel assisted on the tally. Thomas Eady also scored for Chatham. In addition, Chatham received assists from Connor Doran and Eric Palazzolo, who contributed one a piece.

Brandon Campbell made 35 saves for Lambton Shores on 37 shots. The Predators incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Darien Ekblad rejected 33 shots on goal for Chatham. The Maroons incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
