Marc Williams was superb between the pipes for the Kitchener Dutchmen, as he did not allow a goal in a 5-0 victory over the Listowel Cyclones. With the win, Kitchener evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. Listowel's 11 penalties came back to haunt it, as the Cyclones let up four goals while on the penalty kill. The Dutchmen's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Listowel power plays. Listowel was unable to stop Kitchener from sending pucks towards the net, and the Dutchmen eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Kitchener was helped by Keegan Calder, who registered one goal. Calder scored on the power play 1:23 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kitchener. The Dutchmen had gotten the advantage when the Cyclones' Sam Feagan was sent off for interference. Clayton Greer assisted on the tally. Kitchener also got points from Greer, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Kitchener also got a goal from Philip Moser as well. In addition, Kitchener received assists from Brett Clampitt, who had two, Keli Grant, who had three, and John Divo, Tyler Hoffman, and Keegan Alvestad, who contributed one a piece. Listowel kept Kitchener's goalie busy throughout the game, and Williams made 42 saves on 42 shots. The Dutchmen incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Cyclones' Drew Reinhardt stopped 35 shots out of the 40 that he faced. Listowel incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors. The Cyclones ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Sam Harris was ejected from the game.
