The St. Catharines Falcons opened up a six-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to an 8-1 over the Buffalo Jr. Blades. The win by St. Catharines clinched the best of seven series at 4-0. The Falcons were sparked by Ed Creighton, who had one goal. Creighton scored 4:12 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Catharines. Jesse Miller provided the assist. St. Catharines forced Jr. Blades' goalies to work between the pipes, totaling 43 shots and forcing 35 saves. Brandon Klein made 28 stops and Ian Shorthouse made seven. The Falcons put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Buffalo to score on any of its three power plays. St. Catharines additionally got points from Jimmy Sheehan, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Aaron Taylor, who also finished with one goal and one assist. St. Catharines also had goals scored by Greg Jambrosich, who had two and Luke Karaim, who had three. More assists for St. Catharines came via Kyle Woodhouse and Spencer DeWolfe, who each chipped in one and Christian Harper, Ben Walsh, and Yanni Rallis, who contributed three a piece. Penalties took their toll on the Jr. Blades, as their penalty kill unit let in two power play goals. St. Catharines' Stormer Santana stopped 20 shots out of the 21 that he faced. The Falcons incurred 50 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Buffalo incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For the Jr. Blades, Domenic Gruttadauria was ejected from the game.
