Aurora beats Lindsay 5-0 as Entmaa gains shutoutAurora Community Centre Tue, Feb 26, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Kevin Entmaa was superb between the pipes for the Aurora Tigers, as he did not allow a goal in a 5-0 victory over the Lindsay Muskies. The win gave Aurora a 1-0 lead in the best of seven series. Adam Moody was all over the ice for the Tigers, as he had two goals in the win. Moody's tallies came at 4:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Aurora and 18:43 into the third to make the score 5-0 Aurora. Aurora's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Lindsay power plays. The Tigers kept Lindsay's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tanner Davis made 42 saves on 47 shots. Aurora also got points from Kory Kennedy, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Blake Forslund also scored for Aurora. More assists for Aurora came via Michael Keenan, Dylan Sikura, Daniel Lisi, Daniel Clairmont, and Matt Andreacchi, who each chipped in one. The Muskies excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Aurora was unable to stop Lindsay from sending pucks towards the net, and the Muskies eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. Entmaa recorded 34 saves for the Tigers. Aurora incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Lindsay incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
