Georgetown downs Toronto Lakeshore in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Robbie Murden gave the Georgetown Raiders a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots when he scored 1:18 into the extra period.

The win by Georgetown clinched the best of seven series at 4-2.

Murden was all over the ice for the Raiders, as he racked up two goals in the win.

Georgetown's offense rang up 32 shots on Toronto Lakeshore's net.

Jacob Bauchman also scored for Georgetown. In addition, Georgetown received assists from Drake Hart, who had two and Nick Perruccio, Anthony Marra, and Santino Centorame, who each chipped in one.

The Patriots forced the Raiders goalie Keegan Wilson to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

Toronto Lakeshore was helped by Kyle Dutra, who grabbed one goal. Dutra scored on the power play 15:18 into the second period to make the score 1-1. The Patriots earned a power play opportunity when Alex Botten was put in the box for cross checking. Doug Bonar picked up the assist. Toronto Lakeshore additionally got points from Bonar, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Lakeshore were Nathan Feric and Michael Prapavessis, who contributed one a piece.

Wilson recorded 31 saves for Georgetown. The Raiders incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Joseph Pianta made 29 saves for Toronto Lakeshore on 32 shots. The Patriots incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
