The Georgetown Raiders' Steve Hladin scored 6:00 into overtime to beat the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots, 3-2 (OT). After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Toronto Lakeshore faces elimination next time out. Georgetown was sparked by Hladin, who registered one goal. The Raiders put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Patriots to score on any of their five power plays. Georgetown also got points from Jacob Bauchman, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Georgetown also got a goal from Nick Perruccio as well. In addition, Georgetown received assists from Anthony Marra and Alex Botten, who each chipped in one. Georgetown was unable to stop Toronto Lakeshore from sending pucks towards the net, and the Patriots eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. Toronto Lakeshore was helped by Mike Vallescuro, who had one goal. Vallescuro scored 8:06 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Dylan Carter picked up the assist. Kyle Dutra also scored for Toronto Lakeshore. More assists for Toronto Lakeshore came via Tyler Currie and Kelby Lorenz, who contributed one a piece. The Raiders' Keegan Wilson stopped 33 shots out of the 35 that he faced. Georgetown incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Joseph Pianta made 27 saves for the Patriots on 30 shots. Toronto Lakeshore incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
