The Toronto Junior Canadiens' Anthony Repaci scored 4:54 into overtime to beat the St. Michaels Buzzers, 6-5 (OT). After the loss made the series score 2-3 in the best of seven series, St. Michaels faces elimination next time out. Toronto came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Junior Canadiens trailed 4-2 after a goal by the Buzzers' Jake Evans at 12:48 in the second period. Toronto knotted things up at 5-5 on a power play goal by Adam Logozzo at 16:45 in the third period. Repaci was all over the ice for the Junior Canadiens, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Repaci scored the first of his two goals at 15:36 into the second period to make the score 4-4. Jordan Carvalho assisted on the tally. Repaci's next tally made the score 6-5 Toronto with 15:06 left in overtime. Toronto made St. Michaels' netminders to work between the pipes, ripping 43 shots and forcing 37 saves. George Argiropoulos made 21 stops and Adrian Ignagni made 16. The Junior Canadiens' penalty kill was ineffective, and let in four goals to the Buzzers' power play unit. Toronto additionally got points from Logozzo, who also had one goal and one assist and Danny Liscio, who also registered one goal and one assist. Daniel Lombardi also scored for Toronto. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto were Matthew Nosella, who had two and Aaron Thow, Derek Perl, Gregory Di Tomaso, and Aaron Spivak, who each chipped in one. St. Michaels forced Junior Canadiens' goaltenders to work without much rest, racking up 32 shots and forcing 27 saves. Denny Dubblestyne made 12 stops and Nathan Colitto made 15. The Buzzers were helped by CJ Shugart, who registered two goals. Shugart scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 6:17 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Michaels. St. Michaels had taken the advantage when Toronto's Thow got sent off for slashing. Evans picked up the assist. Shugart's next tally on the power play made the score 2-1 St. Michaels with 7:34 left in the first period. The Buzzers had gained a power play chance when Carvalho was whistled for cross checking. Evans provided the assist. St. Michaels also got points from Evans, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. St. Michaels also got a goal from Matt Buckles as well. More assists for St. Michaels came via Jordan Merante, who had two and Stephen Pietrobon, David Italiano, Troy Josephs, Patrick McCarron, Cody Doiron, and Matt Galati, who contributed one a piece. The Junior Canadiens incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. St. Michaels incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
