WHITBY tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but LONDON would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. A goal by Clare McKellar put LONDON up 3-1 in the third period, but WHITBY pulled to within one on Lindsey Brazill's tally 10:45 into the third period. The win gave LONDON a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. McKellar was all over the ice for LONDON, as she grabbed two goals in the win. LONDON stifled WHITBY's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. LONDON also got a goal from Michaeline Falla as well. More assists for LONDON came via Tia Kipfer, Clare Sabine, and Stacie Vink, who each chipped in one. LONDON was unable to stop WHITBY from sending pucks towards the net, and WHITBY eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. WHITBY was helped by Hanna Bunton, who had one goal. Bunton scored nine seconds into the third period to make the score 2-1 LONDON. Krista Yip-Chuck assisted on the tally. Other players who recorded assists for WHITBY were Kirsten Welsh and Madison Badeau, who contributed one a piece. Jessica Dodds recorded 32 saves for LONDON.
