Matt Larose was superb between the pipes for the Wellington Dukes, as he did not allow a goal in a 1-0 victory over the Kingston Voyageurs. With the win, Wellington evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. Jan Kaminsky's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 5:45 in the third period. Jake Marchment assisted on the tally. The Dukes were paced by Kaminsky, who tallied one goal. Wellington kept Kingston's goalie busy throughout the game, and Charlie Finn made 40 saves on 41 shots. Other players who recorded assists for Wellington were Spencer Turcotte, who had one. The Dukes were unable to stop the Voyageurs from sending pucks towards the net, and Kingston eventually piled up 52 shots on goal. Wellington's Larose stopped 52 shots out of the 52 that he faced. The Dukes incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities. The Voyageurs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
