The Lambeth Lancers survived a determined comeback attempt by the Dorchester Dolphins on the way to a 4-3 win. Lambeth made the score 4-2 on a goal by Justin Clark at 13:36 in the third period, and Dorchester got as close as 4-3 when Matt Cormier scored 13:48 into the third period. The win by the Lancers clinched the best of seven series at 4-3. Lambeth was sparked by Clark, who had one goal. The Lancers forced the Dolphins goalie Alex Hutcheson to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. Lambeth did not rack up many penalties in the contest, finishing with only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Lancers was effective with a man advantage, and put in two goals while on the power play. Lambeth additionally got points from Mike Golinowski, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Brandon Robbins also scored for Lambeth. Other players who recorded assists for Lambeth were Kale Corbeth, who had two and Carter Allen, Greg Douglas, and Conor Chilvers, who contributed one a piece. Dorchester kept Lambeth's goalie busy throughout the game, and JP Trudell made 47 saves on 50 shots. The Dolphins were helped by Patrick Freel, who finished with one goal. Freel scored 8:04 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Lambeth. Dorchester also got points from Shayne Rhyno, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Dorchester received assists from Connor McKay, who had one. Hutcheson rejected 32 shots on goal for Dorchester. The Dolphins incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
