The Totino-Grace Eagles' TJ Roo had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Mahtomedi Zephyers.

Roo scored at 7:34 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 12:10 into the second to make the score 3-2 Totino-Grace.

The win gave Totino-Grace a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Totino-Grace also got points from Carter Roo, who also grabbed one goal and two assists and Derek Lodermeier, who also finished with two goals and one assist. Totino-Grace also got a goal from Brandon Hilliard as well. In addition, Totino-Grace received assists from Charlie Miller, Connor Schmidt, Brennan Swan, and Blake Vagle, who each chipped in one.

Mahtomedi was led by Mac Rathmanner, who finished with one goal and one assist. Rathmanner scored 12:18 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Mahtomedi. Matt Bonine assisted on the tally. Trevor Keeney also scored for Mahtomedi. Other players who recorded assists for Mahtomedi were McQuaid Boo, who had one.

The Eagles' Michael Larson stopped 15 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Totino-Grace incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Colin Denis made 21 saves for the Zephyers on 27 shots. Mahtomedi incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
