The Marshall School Duluth Hilltoppers survived a determined comeback attempt by the Hibbing / Chisholm Bluejackets on the way to a 3-2 win.

Marshall School Duluth made the score 3-1 on a goal by Jack Dodd at 15:06 in the third period, and Hibbing / Chisholm got as close as 3-2 when Adam Johnson scored 16:17 into the third period.

The win gave the Hilltoppers a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Marshall School Duluth was paced by Dodd, who had one goal.

The Hilltoppers forced the Bluejackets goalie Tyler Carlson to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots.
