Robb Stautz lifted the Roseville Raiders to a 6-5 victory with a hat trick against the Tartan Titans.

Stautz notched his first tally 7:36 into the second period. He then added goals at 14:57 into the second and at 11:49 into the third.

The win gave Roseville a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

The Raiders forced Tartan goalie Gabe Splichal to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

Pearcy Marks also scored for Roseville. In addition, Roseville received assists from Andrerw Colvard, who had three and Ryan Novotny and Colton Brauesen, who contributed one a piece.

The Titans' offense rang up 38 shots on Roseville's net.

Tartan was led by Jake Jackson, who registered three goals. Tartan also got a goal from Michael Friberg as well. Other players who recorded assists for Tartan were Eric Olheiser, who had two, Jacob Picht, who had three, and Rusty Axtman, Zach Ledman, and Brady OSullivan, who each chipped in one.

Zach Larson recorded 33 saves for the Raiders. Roseville incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Titans' Splichal stopped 28 shots out of the 34 that he faced. Tartan incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
