Wheatley rips Belle River, 4-0

The Belle River Canadiens had trouble finding ways to stop the Wheatley Sharks, which beat Canadiens, 4-0.

The win by Wheatley clinched the best of seven series at 4-3.

The Sharks were led by Riley Babkirk, who finished with one goal and one assist. Babkirk scored 13:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wheatley. Kyle Quick provided the assist.

Wheatley did not rack up many penalties in the contest, finishing with a minimal one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Wheatley additionally got points from Quick, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Brendon Anger, who also registered one goal and one assist. Kurtis Ouellette also scored for Wheatley. More assists for Wheatley came via Lucas Raffoul, who had one and Sebastian Kanally, who had two.

Marc Tremblay recorded 24 saves for the Sharks. Wheatley registered one goal on two power play opportunities. Belle River's Zakk Olvin stopped 19 shots out of the 22 that he faced. The Canadiens incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
