Zakk Olvin had a standout game with 32 saves, and the Belle River Canadiens beat the Wheatley Sharks 2-1. After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Wheatley faces elimination next time out. Belle River was led by Andrew Synnott, who tallied one goal. Synnott scored 18:01 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Belle River. Donnovan Plummer picked up the assist. The Canadiens' offense rang up 36 shots on the Sharks' net. Mark Manchurek also scored for Belle River. Other players who recorded assists for Belle River were Branden Larocque and Aidan Wiebenga, who contributed one a piece. Wheatley's offense rang up 33 shots on Belle River's net. The Sharks did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Wheatley was led by Austin Fontaine, who scored the team's only goal. Fontaine scored on the power play 19:34 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wheatley. The Sharks had gotten the advantage when the Canadiens' Chris DiNatale was sent off for high sticking. Riley Babkirk provided the assist. Belle River incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Marc Tremblay made 34 saves for Wheatley on 36 shots. The Sharks registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
