Glanbrook rolls over Dundas, 5-1

The Dundas Blues had trouble finding ways to stop the Glanbrook Rangers, which beat Blues, 5-1.

After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Dundas faces elimination next time out.

Glanbrook's Matt Sagrott was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 34 saves and let only one puck past him. Sagrott certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.82 entering the contest.

The Rangers were sparked by Curtis Edwards, who had one goal and one assist. Edwards scored on the power play 7:59 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Glanbrook. Glanbrook earned a power play opportunity when Matt Charbonneau was put in the box for head contact. Nicolas Kuiper provided the assist.

The Rangers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Dundas power plays. Glanbrook kept the Blues' goalie busy throughout the game, and Mark Sinclair made 30 saves on 35 shots.

Glanbrook also got points from Alexander Cappelletti, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Drew Jedrzejewicz also scored for Glanbrook. In addition, Glanbrook received assists from Dustin Chenier, Justin Denobriga, and Dillon Ciprietti, who each chipped in one.

The Rangers were unable to stop Dundas from sending pucks towards the net, and the Blues eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

Dundas was led by Andrew Solow, who scored the team's only goal. Solow scored 12:19 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Glanbrook. Jordan Peacock assisted on the tally.

Glanbrook incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Blues incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
