The Glanbrook Rangers' Anthony Sanelli scored 4:37 into overtime to beat the Dundas Blues, 3-2 (OT). The win gave Glanbrook a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. Alexander Cappelletti had a great game for the Rangers, netting two goals. Cappelletti scored on the power play at 16:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Glanbrook and again while 7:10 into the third to make the score 2-1 Glanbrook. Glanbrook's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Dundas power plays. Dundas was unable to stop the Rangers from sending pucks towards the net, and Glanbrook eventually piled up 55 shots on goal. Other players who recorded assists for Glanbrook were Curtis Edwards, Nicolas Kuiper, Connor McLoughlin, and Roger Sherwood, who contributed one a piece. The Blues' offense rang up 51 shots on the Rangers' net. Dundas was helped by Brett Dell, who registered one goal and one assist. Dell scored 17:46 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nick McMullen provided the assist. Dundas also got points from Derek Searle, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Dundas received assists from Garret Incze, who had one. Matt Sagrott made 49 saves for Glanbrook on 51 shots. The Rangers incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Glanbrook ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Cal Smith was ejected from the game. The Blues' Mark Sinclair stopped 52 shots out of the 55 that he faced. Dundas incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
