The Mitchell Hawks tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Kincardine Bulldogs would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4. A goal by Adam Hughes put Kincardine up 5-3 in the third period, but Mitchell pulled to within one on Jade Maxwell's tally 11:30 into the third period. The win gave the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. Kincardine was led by Hughes, who finished with one goal and one assist. Hughes scored 8:47 into the third period to make the score Kincardine. Gatlin Burt picked up the assist. The Hawks were unable to stop the Bulldogs from sending pucks towards the net, and Kincardine eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. The Bulldogs had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just two goals on nine chances.
