Yan's hat trick boosts Belle Tire (MM) over Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM), 7-2

Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) could not stop Belle Tire (MM)'s Dennis Yan, who tallied a hat trick in a 7-2 win.

Yan got on the scoresheet 6:49 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:07 into the third and at 13:12 into the third.

Belle Tire (MM)'s penalty kill excelled, as Belle Tire (MM) gave up zero goals despite allowing nine power plays.

Belle Tire (MM) stifled Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Belle Tire (MM) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

Sly Sutter also scored for Belle Tire (MM). More assists for Belle Tire (MM) came via Jasen Fernsler, who had one, Tyler Baker and Cameron Cooper, who each chipped in two, and Zach Felser and Mike Maiden, who contributed three a piece.

Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) stifled Belle Tire (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 16 penalty minutes for eight opposing power plays.

Belle Tire (MM)'s Luke Frawley stopped 24 shots out of the 26 that he faced. Blaine Brock recorded 17 saves for Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM).
