Toronto Lakeshore beats Toronto 3-2 after comeback scare

The Toronto Junior Canadiens tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

A goal by Daniel Tedesco put Toronto Lakeshore up 3-1 in the third period, but Toronto pulled to within one on Aaron Spivak's tally 4:58 into the third period.

Tedesco was all over the ice for the Patriots, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Tedesco scored the first of his two goals at 19:34 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Kelby Lorenz assisted on the tally. Tedesco's next tally made the score Toronto Lakeshore with 19:40 left in the third period. Wes Deme picked up the assist.

The Junior Canadiens were unable to stop Toronto Lakeshore from sending pucks towards the net, and the Patriots eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

Toronto Lakeshore additionally got points from Lorenz, who also racked up one goal and two assists. More assists for Toronto Lakeshore came via Kyle Dutra, who had one.

Adam Logozzo also scored for Toronto. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto were Derek Perl, Luca Doctor, Travis Hill, and Anthony Repaci, who contributed one a piece.

Joseph Pianta recorded 27 saves for Toronto Lakeshore. The Patriots incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Nathan Colitto made 32 saves for Toronto on 35 shots. The Junior Canadiens incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
