Behind a great game by Patrick Freel, who had four goals, the Dorchester Dolphins defeated the Port Stanley Sailors, 9-1. Freel got on the scoresheet 16:29 into the first period. He then added goals at 17:02 into the second, at 13 seconds into the third, and at 10:44 into the third.The win gave Dorchester a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. The Dolphins' Patrick Maziarz was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 28 saves and let only one puck past him. In addition, Port Stanley received assists from Josh Tremblay, who had one. The Dolphins incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Sailors incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
