The Huntsville Otters had trouble finding ways to stop the Alliston Hornets, which beat Otters, 11-3. The win gave Alliston a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. Mike Campeau had one goal and three assists to lead the Hornets. Campeau scored 6:07 into the second period to make the score 5-1 Alliston. Randy Cox provided the assist. Alliston pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 23 penalty minutes. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 16:33 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. The Hornets excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Alliston's offense rang up 46 shots on Huntsville's net. Alliston additionally got points from Cole Parker, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Kory Brown, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Brandon Alward, who also registered one goal and one assist, Tanner Dockerty, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Mark ODonnell, who also finished with three goals and one assist. Alliston also had goals scored by Drake Board, who had one and Joe Cochrane, who had two. More assists for Alliston came via Dakota Brooks, who had three, Andre Lessard and William Bradon, who each chipped in one, and Adam Maceachern and David Leblanc, who contributed two a piece. The Otters stifled the Hornets' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Huntsville was helped by Jay Dix, who had one goal. Dix scored 8:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Huntsville. Carter Tracey assisted on the tally. Huntsville also got points from Tracey, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Huntsville also got a goal from Erik Macpherson as well. In addition, Huntsville received assists from Brandon Quo Vadis, who had two and Shawn Fraser and Joshua Bullied, who each chipped in one. Alliston's Robbie Alsop stopped 23 shots out of the 26 that he faced. The Hornets registered zero goals on three power play opportunities. For Alliston, Maceachern was ejected from the game. Tye Greschuk made 35 saves for the Otters on 46 shots. Huntsville ended with 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. For the Otters, Jack Campbell and Tracey were ejected from the contest.
