The Thamesford Trojans tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Lambeth Lancers would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. Lambeth made the score 3-1 on a goal by Warren Hargraves at 11:19 in the third period, and Thamesford got as close as 3-2 when Andrew McLennan scored 11:51 into the third period. The win gave the Lancers a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. Greg Douglas was all over the ice for Lambeth, as he registered two goals in the win. Douglas found the back of the net 2:25 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Lambeth and again while on the power play 9:36 into the second to make the score 2-1 Lambeth. Other players who recorded assists for Lambeth were Tanner Smith, who had two and Brandon Robbins, Mike Golinowski, and Mitch Furlonger, who each chipped in one. Ben Kirwin also scored for Thamesford. In addition, Thamesford received assists from Judson Couture and Adam Levine, who contributed one a piece. JP Trudell made 19 saves for the Lancers on 21 shots. Lambeth incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Tynan Lauziere recorded 24 saves for the Trojans. Thamesford incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
