Wade Kenny grabbed one point to lead the Chippawa Riverhawks to a 5-2 victory over the Dundas Blues. After the loss made the series score 1-3 in the best of seven series, Dundas faces elimination next time out. Chippawa excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Riverhawks forced the Blues goalie Mark Sinclair to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots. Chippawa also got points from Kyle Robertson, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Dylan Lazarus also scored for Chippawa. Other players who recorded assists for Chippawa were Curtis Sauve and Alex Cipriano, who each chipped in one and Daniel Heidebrect and Brayden Stortz, who contributed two a piece. Dundas' offense rang up 37 shots on Chippawa's net. The Blues were helped by Brayden Knott, who had one goal and one assist. Knott scored 18:01 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Dan Pelosini picked up the assist. Dundas additionally got points from Kevin Jaczenko, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Dundas received assists from Mitch Reid, who had one. The Riverhawks' Colin Dunne stopped 35 shots out of the 37 that he faced. Chippawa incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Mark Sinclair made 40 saves for Dundas on 45 shots. The Blues ended with 45 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors and one major. For Dundas, Matt Charbonneau was ejected from the game.
