The Walkerton Hawks relied on the scoring touch of Adam Alexander, who netted two goals, to beat the Goderich Sailors, 9-0.

Alexander's tallies came at 1:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Walkerton and 5:46 into the first to make the score 2-0 Walkerton.

After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Goderich faces elimination next time out.

Walkerton stifled the Sailors' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Hawks forced Goderich goalie Tyler MacGregor to work between the pipes, taking 53 shots.

Walkerton additionally got points from Shane MacDonald, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Connor Patton, who also had two goals and two assists, and Lauchlin Elder, who also racked up two goals and two assists. Walkerton also got a goal from Joel Bowman as well. Other players who recorded assists for Walkerton were Drew Davidson, who had three, Wade Pfeffer, Jay Thomson, David Gallo, Nikolas McIver, and Cole Rooney, who each chipped in one, and Brooks Nelthorpe and Haden Campbell, who contributed two a piece.

The Sailors' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Walkerton power plays.

Walkerton's Jeff Flagler stopped 17 shots out of the 17 that he faced. The Hawks incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. MacGregor rejected 44 shots on goal for Goderich. The Sailors incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
