The Marshall Tigers climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat the Morris/Benson Area Storm, 5-4.

Marshall never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Tigers trailed 4-2 after a goal by Morris/Benson Area's Tanner Picht at 12 seconds in the third period. Marshall tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Quinn Horvath at 2:33 in the third period. The Tigers scored the game winner at 3:58 in the third period on a goal by Horvath.

Marshall excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Storm were unable to stop the Tigers from sending pucks towards the net, and Marshall eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

Marshall additionally got points from Beau Mikel, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Derek Rasmussen also scored for Marshall. In addition, Marshall received assists from Tyler Untiedt, Levi Hedman, Austin Leek, and Corey Clark, who each chipped in one.
