The Penetang Kings had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-3 win over the Erin Shamrocks. The win by Penetang clinched the best of seven series at 4-1. Nick Arcan was all over the ice for the Kings, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Arcan scored 4:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Penetang. Matt Fischer assisted on the tally. Penetang also got points from Sammy Gagnon, who also registered one goal and one assist and Fischer, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Penetang included Matt Meher, who had one and Brandon Frandsen, who had two. In addition, Penetang received assists from Hayden Cole, Myles York, Jesse Moreau, and Nate King, who contributed one a piece. Erin was helped by Tyler Burlock, who grabbed one goal. Burlock scored on the power play 11:42 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Erin. The Shamrocks had taken the advantage when Penetang's Josh Gonzales got sent off for head contact. Josh Sguigna provided the assist. Jordan Brown also scored for Erin. Other players who recorded assists for Erin were Adam MacKinnon, Tyler Shippel, and Chris Crossey, who each chipped in one. Adam Redgate recorded 20 saves for the Kings. Penetang incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tom Denstedt rejected 23 shots on goal for Erin. The Shamrocks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
