St. Louis Selects 16U had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-0 win over Phoenix Firebirds 16U.

Trevor Johnson had two goals to lead St. Louis Selects 16U to victory. Johnson found the back of the net 6:11 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Louis Selects 16U and again while on the power play 16:35 into the third to make the score 5-0 St. Louis Selects 16U.

St. Louis Selects 16U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Phoenix Firebirds 16U power plays. Phoenix Firebirds 16U was unable to stop St. Louis Selects 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Louis Selects 16U eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
