Colin Hartwick was all over the ice for the Lucan Irish, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Lucan's 8-4 win over the Port Stanley Sailors. Hartwick's tallies came at 4:04 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and on the power play 10:12 into the third to make the score 7-3 Lucan.The Irish evened the best of seven series at 3-3 and forced a deciding game seven. Lucan pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes. The Irish forced Port Stanley's goalies to work in net, taking 46 shots and forcing 38 saves. Brandon Garner made 36 stops and Ricky Corkum made two. Lucan additionally got points from Keiron Cobban, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Mitch Smith, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Mitch Read, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Dylan Moss, who also registered one goal and one assist. Lucan also got a goal from Cam Bond as well. In addition, Lucan received assists from Jordan Vanderwel, Colin Nancekivell, Wes Huston, Riley Orchard, Mike Hisey, Matt Curtis, and Mathew Smallman, who contributed one a piece. The Sailors' offense rang up 33 shots on Lucan's net. Port Stanley was helped by Findley Brandon, who finished with one goal. Brandon scored on the power play 13:06 into the second period to make the score 5-3 Lucan. A roughing penalty on Read had put the Sailors on the power play. Tyson Corkum provided the assist. Zak Jukna also scored for Port Stanley. Other players who recorded assists for Port Stanley were Derek Finlay, Andrew Yurek, Tom Yurek, Luke McGuire, and Tyler Beaulieu, who each chipped in one. Dylan Hoover made 29 saves for the Irish on 33 shots. Lucan registered one goal on eight power play opportunities. Port Stanley totaled 21 minutes in penalty time with eight minors and one major and went 1-for-7 on the power play. The Sailors ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Finlay was ejected from the game.
