The Tavistock Braves came close to giving away a three-goal lead to the Burford Bulldogs, but did just enough to escape with a 5-3 victory. Tavistock led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Braves' Jordan Ritsma's scored at 8:55 in the second period to put Tavistock up 4-1. The win by the Braves clinched the best of seven series at 4-2. Tavistock's penalty kill excelled, as the Braves gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays. Tavistock was led by Tristan Hohl, who racked up one goal. Hohl scored 18:10 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Tavistock. Burford was unable to stop the Braves from sending pucks towards the net, and Tavistock eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. Tavistock also got points from Deven Kropf, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Derek Cowing, who also had one goal and one assist. Tavistock also got a goal from Jeremy Munro as well. More assists for Tavistock came via Mac Kalbfleisch, who had two and Charlie Malson, Nick Quehl, Andrew Schacht, and Jake Mock, who each chipped in one. The Bulldogs were led by Tyler Vandenbussche, who finished with two goals. Vandenbussche scored the first of his two goals at 3:18 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Tavistock. Tommy Smith picked up the assist. Vandenbussche's next tally made the score 4-3 Tavistock with 8:28 left in the third period. A hooking penalty on Quehl had put Burford on the power play. Jim Salatas provided the assist. Kyle Chaney also scored for Burford. Other players who recorded assists for Burford were Matt Kliewer, who had one. Tim Parker made 27 saves for the Braves on 30 shots. Tavistock totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. The Braves ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Malson was ejected from the game. Don Davis rejected 29 shots on goal for the Bulldogs. Burford ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. For the Bulldogs, Jamie Snow was ejected from the game.
