Freeport Rec Centre    Sun, Jan 20, 2013

The Farmingdale State Rams' Matthew Johnson had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 4-1 win over the SUNY Maritime Privateers.

Johnson scored at 17:00 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 19:32 into the first to make the score 2-1 Farmingdale State.

Farmingdale State put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow SUNY Maritime to score on any of its five power plays. The Rams could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

Farmingdale State also got a goal from Jack Radin as well. Other players who recorded assists for Farmingdale State were Mike Leprine, who had two and Scott Brennan, Menicino John, and Joe Mione, who each chipped in one.
