Luc Boby racked up two points to lead Midwest to a 5-2 victory over Great Lakes. Midwest made Great Lakes' netminders to work without much rest, firing 37 shots and forcing 32 saves. Max Milosek made 17 stops and Trevor Gorsuch made 15. Midwest also got points from Derek Smith, who also grabbed one goal and two assists and Brandon Brossoit, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Midwest also got a goal from Mac Jansen as well. Other players who recorded assists for Midwest were Ryan Atkinson, who had one and Kyle Sharkey, who had two.
