James Newgren registered one point to lead the Cloquet Esko Carlton Lumberjacks to a 3-0 victory over the Duluth Denfeld Hunters.

Cloquet Esko Carlton managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Lumberjacks wound up below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game. Cloquet Esko Carlton did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Lumberjacks average 5.6 goals per game. Cloquet Esko Carlton's defense was surprisingly good. The Lumberjacks allow 2.6 goals per game.
