Rosemount beats Owatonna 6-0 as Leslie gains shutout

Austin Leslie was superb between the pipes for the Rosemount Irish, as he did not allow a goal in a 6-0 victory over the Owatonna Huskies.

Rosemount was led by Justin Crowell, who had one goal and one assist. Crowell scored 3:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Rosemount.

The Irish stifled Owatonna's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Rosemount kept the Huskies' goalie busy throughout the game, and Luke Ebeling made 25 saves on 31 shots. The Irish bested their season scoring average. This season, Rosemount averages 3.4 goals per contest.

Rosemount additionally got points from Nate Sackett, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Ryan Foley also scored for Rosemount. In addition, Rosemount received assists from Andrew Glad, Lukas Gillett, and Anthony Winters, who contributed two a piece.

Owatonna's offense operated below it season average. The Huskies average 2.8 goals per game.

Austin Leslie made 26 saves for the Irish on 26 shots. Rosemount incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Owatonna incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
