Hinrichs nets hat trick, leads Bloomington Kennedy to 5-0 win over Spring Lake ParkSchwan SR-1 Thu, Dec 27, 2012 The Spring Lake Park Panthers could not stop the Bloomington Kennedy Eagles' Brad Hinrichs, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-0 win. Hinrichs' first goal came 9:08 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:05 into the second and at 8:18 into the second.Bloomington Kennedy excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Eagles was steadier on the defensive front than they have been for much of this season. Bloomington Kennedy allows 2.8 goals per game. The Eagles could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. Bloomington Kennedy also got points from Conor Jensen, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Michael Jost also scored for Bloomington Kennedy. More assists for Bloomington Kennedy came via Jacob OKeefe and Michael McCullen, who contributed one a piece. Spring Lake Park racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and two majors for 22 minutes in penalty time. The Panthers had been averaging 15.0 minutes in penalties per game. Spring Lake Park was held below its usual level of production. The Panthers put an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game. Bloomington Kennedy's David Johnson stopped 24 shots out of the 24 that he faced. The Eagles registered one goal on six power play opportunities. JT Hirschi recorded 18 saves for Spring Lake Park.
