Henry Sibley hangs on, beats St.Louis Park 3-1

The Henry Sibley Warriors beat the St.Louis Park Orioles, 3-1, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

Ben Tschida provided Henry Sibley with the game-winning tally when he scored 7:42 into the the first period. Jack Coleman picked up the assist.

The Warriors were led by Coleman, who tallied one goal and one assist. Coleman scored 16:10 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Henry Sibley. Steve Malmgren provided the assist.

Henry Sibley additionally got points from Malmgren, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Henry Sibley were Will Deitchler and Austin Westman, who contributed one a piece.

St.Louis Park did not challenge the opposing goalie, launching only eight shots on net to force seven saves. However, the Orioles fired more shots in the game than the 2.0 per game they average.
