The Roseau Rams' Zach Yon had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 6-2 win over the Coon Rapids Cardinals.

Yon found the back of the net 10 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Roseau and again while on the power play 3:06 into the third to make the score 3-2 Roseau.

Roseau forced Coon Rapids goalie Zachary St. John to work between the pipes, taking 62 shots.

Roseau also got points from Alex Strand, who also grabbed three goals and one assist to lead the team in points and Brady Castle, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for Roseau were Corey Olson and Joe Vatnsdal, who each chipped in one and Alex Ziegler and Tanner Okeson, who contributed two a piece.

The Cardinals were helped by Robbie Randall, who tallied one goal. Randall scored on the power play 9:00 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Seth Johnson picked up the assist. Coon Rapids also got a goal from Sam Naegele as well. More assists for Coon Rapids came via Cody Ancheta, who had one.

Austin Halvorson made 20 saves for the Rams on 22 shots. Roseau incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. St. John rejected 56 shots on goal for Coon Rapids. The Cardinals incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
