Brainerd downs Bismarck Century, ND in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Brainerd Warriors pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over Bismarck Century, ND on a clutch goal by Jacob Ellingson.

Ellingson had a great game for Brainerd, netting two goals. Ellingson scored at 12:08 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 3:43 into the fourth to make the score 4-3 Brainerd.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Brainerd also got a goal from Christopher Pohlkamp as well. More assists for Brainerd came via Billy Desrocher, who had one and Logan Rivard and Griffin Campbell, who each chipped in two.

Bismarck Century, ND managed to stay out of the box for the most part, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. However, the total the 1.0 minutes in penalty time per game Bismarck Century, ND had been averaging this year.

Bismarck Century, ND was led by Jared Spooner, who tallied two goals. Spooner scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 7:40 into the first period to make the score 1-1.
