Bloomington Jefferson wins tough contest against Eden Prairie, 3-2

The Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars and the Eden Prairie Eagles were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Bloomington Jefferson made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Zac Beek secured the win for the Jaguars with a goal in the third period.

Bloomington Jefferson was led by Beek, who had one goal. Beek scored 12:08 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Bloomington Jefferson. Tyler Johnson picked up the assist.

Bloomington Jefferson also got a goal from Charlie Bach as well. Other players who recorded assists for Bloomington Jefferson were Johnny Panvica, who had one.

The 41 shots that Eden Prairie put on net surpassed the Eagles' average of 13.3 shots per game this season.

Eden Prairie was helped by Mason Bergh, who grabbed one goal. Bergh scored 8:47 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Andrew Knudsen assisted on the tally. Hunter Warner also scored for Eden Prairie. In addition, Eden Prairie received assists from Luc Snuggerud and Andy Aguilar, who each chipped in one.

Grant Martens made 39 saves for the Jaguars on 41 shots. Bloomington Jefferson incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Jake Gerdes rejected 21 shots on goal for the Eagles. Eden Prairie incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
