Fargo North, ND survives Crookston comeback, wins 5-3

The Crookston Pirates tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Fargo North, ND would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-3.

A goal by Seth Brenneman put Fargo North, ND up 5-2 in the third period, but Crookston pulled to within two on Brady Heppner's tally 15:38 into the third period.

Fargo North, ND was led by Spencer Klein, who racked up one goal. Klein scored 1:38 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Fargo North, ND. Max Teschendorf picked up the assist.

Fargo North, ND managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Fargo North, ND ended up below its season average of 4.0 penalty minutes per game.
