Sainte-Foy trailed Space Coast Hurricanes by three in the first period, but Sainte-Foy did not give up and the game ended in a 3-3 (OT) tie.

Space Coast Hurricanes was led by Clay Plyler, who grabbed two goals. Plyler scored the first of his two goals at 5:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Space Coast Hurricanes. Jacob Brown picked up the assist. Plyler's next tally made the score 3-0 Space Coast Hurricanes with 5:50 left in the first period. Scotty Tam provided the assist. Space Coast Hurricanes also got a goal from Arthur Anderson as well. In addition, Space Coast Hurricanes received assists from Jamie Chilcott, who had one.
