Esko Aukee had a standout game with 28 saves, and the Irondale Knights beat the Park of Cottage Grove Wolfpack 2-1.

Irondale was paced by Mike Hanker, who racked up one goal. Hanker scored 12:05 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Irondale. Korey Muzzy assisted on the tally.

The Knights stifled Park of Cottage Grove's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Wolfpack's defense shut down Irondale's forwards for much of the game, and the Knights got off only 12 shots during the contest.

Jack Tuomie also scored for Irondale. More assists for Irondale came via Kilen Eilefson, who had one.

Park of Cottage Grove was led by Christopher Peterson, who scored the team's only goal. Peterson scored zero seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Park of Cottage Grove. Eric Stoffel picked up the assist.

Irondale incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Matthew Palmquist made 10 saves for the Wolfpack on 12 shots. Park of Cottage Grove incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
